The real joke is that if you measure "too much", you are called a sociopath.
If you measure "too little", a fool.
Measure too obviously and you're a parasite or manipulator or abuser or whatever.
Measure too poorly and you're a loser (quick! squash the bug!)
You gotta half-ass it! Or really, to do it right, you need to DO IT POORLY, LIE ABOUT IT (I'M NOT COLD AND CALCULATING), OR JUSTIFY IT (GOTTA TAKE CARE OF #1)
If you ever admit your BOTTOM LINE is profit, you will be condemned. You're "above that".
If your bottom line is anything else, you will be tortured and possibly killed.
But there are people who do not have the DESPICABLE FUCKING ARROGANCE that comes with never doubting that your life is justified.
