love heavy as sin

i'm not sure if i'm human

i think part of being human is not realizing you are otherwise

like wile e. coyote running off a cliff, he's only dead when he realizes it

part of the difference between humans and everything else is what kind of selves are nurtured

if you still have the tree of society and reciprocity in your heart, growing however crooked, you're not quite dead to the world yet i think

well, to others you can be...

this is the difference maybe between dehumanization (external) and having something inhuman in your heart to begin with.

someone dehumanized can be an animal to others but still imagine themselves human.

i am not exactly dehumanized, but what is in my heart is cherished by only my wife. whether or not i am human, my heart is inhuman i think.

something cursed and twisted and full of the most terrible violence is in there.

my love is as heavy as sin.

if i am inhuman, i am a far different kind than my wife.

if i am a dog, i am a normal dog from a good home, and my wife an old plague dog (like richard adams)
