as scared as i am to ask anything, he is far more scared. Terrified.
He has the pride that comes from having everything you've ever wanted... denied. And still asks.
He has felt safe enough to but also, pushes himself so hard.... I'm usually too afraid to ask (but do sometimes) but he is terrified and pushes himself harder.
